What Echora will be for
Soothe spaces to improve speech intelligibility and listening comfort without “stifling” the room. Ideal for open offices, restaurants, cafés, classrooms, hotels, studios/podcasts, cultural spaces, music rooms and homes.
What we are developing
Panels in mycelium and local plant fibres, designed to reduce reverberation (absorption) and soften reflections. Two models are in preparation: a discreet, aesthetic wall panel and an elegant suspended model that effectively treats reverberation from the ceiling. Each piece features an organic texture and natural tones (white, beige, brown) inherent to the living material.

FAQ
Do these panels “insulate” from neighbours or street noise?
They mainly treat indoor reverberation (acoustic correction). To block outside/party‑wall noise, complementary structural isolation (mass, decoupling) is needed.
What’s the difference between sound insulation and acoustic correction?
Insulation prevents sound from passing between rooms; correction reduces echo and reverberation within the room. Our panels are for correction (absorption).
How are they installed?
On walls via discreet fixings (template provided). On ceilings as suspended baffles using cables. Mounting options and accessories will be specified at launch.
Is there any smell or risk to air quality?
The material is dry and stabilised, so no risk to air quality.
