Frequently asked questions

What does the powder taste like?
Mild and slightly umami — it blends into savoury dishes as well as coffee or cocoa.

How much should I take?
5 g per day, i.e. one heaped teaspoon. This serving covers 24% of your vitamin B1 needs.

Can I cook with it?
Yes. Ideally add it at the end of cooking and stir well.

How is it different from Lion's Velvet or Lion's Roast?
Here it is the whole, pure mushroom, to dose as you like. In our coffee and cocoa, it is present as an extract, in a small amount.

Where does the mushroom come from?
It is grown, dried and milled by FongiFlore in Montet (FR), Switzerland.
